"HI" hams can now say "hi" on
60 meters. The ARRL Letter reports that the Dominican Republic's telecommunications
regulator has updated its National Frequency Allocation Plan, and it now
includes an allocation for fixed and mobile amateur radio operation on
5351.5-5366.5 kHz, with a maximum effective isotropic radiated power (EIRP) of
15 watts.
