Ham Club President Killed in Knife Attack


Paul McIntyre, KC5AJX, of Sacramento, California, was one of two people killed in a workplace incident on February 28. According to the ARRL, McIntyre was training to become a social worker and was interning two days a week at a recovery center in Carmichael, where the attack took place. Two other people were injured and the suspect was in custody, according to news reports.
 
McIntyre was president of the River City Amateur Radio Communications Society, where the ARRL said he had served for years in a variety of roles.
