Europe's
Youngsters On The Air (YOTA) summer camp program brings together young hams
from many countries each year – the 2019 camp in Bulgaria had approximately 80
participants from 27 countries, according to the ARRL Letter.The program's success is prompting the formation of smaller "subregional" camps in other areas, including Finland, Germany and Italy, with mini-camps scheduled this fall in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Many of the attendees at the main YOTA camp help plan and run activities at the smaller camps.
