The International Amateur Radio Union's Emergency Telecommunications Guide is
now available in four languages, English, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian. The
94-page guide, originally published only in English, is designed to provide
materials for amateurs participating in emergency and public service activities
as well as guidance for individual hams in improving their EmComm skills,
according to Southgate Amateur Radio News. It is hoped that translators will
step up to provide editions in additional languages as well.
