IOTA Award Applicants May Now Use LoTW "QSO-Matching"

Participants in the Islands on the Air (IOTA) program may now use contacts confirmed in the ARRL's

Logbook of the World (LoTW) system for award credit, according to the ARRL Letter. However, they may not apply for IOTA awards directly through the LoTW system. The arrangement allows IOTA award managers to verify contacts through LoTW while continuing to check QSOs against known IOTA operations.
