Indian Hams Continue Tracking Mystery Signals
Hams in India who have been asked by government security officials to continue monitoring mysterious signals heard on 2 meters have reportedly tracked the signals to an offshore source about 100 nautical miles from the Maharashtra-Gujarat coast in the Arabian Sea.
The ARRL reports that the people making the transmissions were speaking in a language that the hams from Mumbai did not understand. Their information has been passed along to the Ministry of Telecommunications as well as defense and law enforcement officials.
