The sponsors of Europe's biggest
hamfest say the 2019 Ham Radio gathering in Friedrichshafen, Germany in June
attracted 14,300 visitors from more than 50 countries, an increase of some 400
attendees from 2018, including a large contingent of young hams (see photo). There were also 184 exhibitors and ham radio associations
from 32 countries providing information and equipment purchase opportunities.
At press time, the Dayton Amateur Radio Association had not yet released
its attendance figures for the 2019 Dayton Hamvention®.
