Longtime ARRL staff member Norm Fusaro, W3IZ, has
been promoted to the newly-created position of Director of Operations at League
Headquarters. His previous job as Radiosport and Field Services Manager is being
filled by another veteran League staffer, Bart Jahnke, W9JJ, who has been
Contest Branch Manager for the past three years. In his new role, Jahnke is responsible for contests, awards, the Logbook of the World (LoTW) program and the entire volunteer field organization. He previously edited the ARRL Repeater Directory and served for 16 years as manager of the ARRL Volunteer Examiner program.
