"Ham Video" Up and Running on International Space Station

International Space Station Commander Koichi Wakata, KC5ZTA, finished the "commissioning" process for the new digital amateur television transmitter aboard the ISS in mid-April, saying the ability to transmit pictures to school groups during Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) contacts "will enhance space conversations between crew members and students."
