On August 21, Ham Radio Outlet Vice President George
Varvitsiotes, K6SV, became a Silent Key after a long battle with cancer. He was
58. George was an avid contester, a leader in the amateur radio industry and a
key player in the success of HRO, where he had worked since 1976. Donations in George's memory may be made to the Resurrection Greek
