France OKs Use of 60 Meters

Amateurs in France may now operate on the 60-meter band. The new allocation was approved in February by that country's telecommunications regulator. According to the ARRL Letter, French hams will be authorized to operate on 5351.5-5366.6 kHz with a maximum EIRP (effective isotropic radiated power) of 15 watts.
