Some production of Yaesu amateur radio equipment continues, according to Dennis Motschenbacher, K7BV, Executive Vice President of Yaesu Amateur Radio Sales.
Yesterday, company president Jun Hasegawa announced that production at Vertex-Standard's factory in Fukushima, Japan, has been suspended due to earthquake damage. However, Dennis informs us that Yaesu also has a plant in China that is in full production.
