Technical Glitches Mar Virtual Ham Expo

What turned out to be an overly-ambitious attempt to bring more live video interaction to the second running of the QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo in March resulted in quite a bit of confusion for both vendors and attendees, but founder and chairman Eric Guth, 4Z1UG, promised to improve things next time around.

"The Expo team is committed to constantly learning and improving what we do," Guth said in an e-mail to vendors. "Virtual conventions of this magnitude are new territory, especially as we try new things. Our Expo is here to serve the needs of the very large amateur radio community, especially those that don't attend in-person national or regional events (or even local events). We are committed to making that happen."

The next virtual Ham Expo is scheduled for August 14-15, 2021. For more info, visit <www.qsotodayhamexpo.com>.
