A new version 2.2.0 of the popular WSJT-X suite of digital communications protocols is now available for beta testing. According to Southgate Amateur Radio News, lead developer Joe Taylor, K1JT, announced the availability of "candidate release WSJT 2.2.0-rc1" as testers' "first chancetotest the new features and provide feedback to the WSJT Development Group." A post on Taylor's website says the new version includes improvements to many modes, including FT4, FT8, JT4, JT65 and WSPR.
