Development Sector's latest ITU
Guidelines for national emergedy telecommunication plans highlights the
ongoing contributions of radio amateurs in emergency communications. "They
are experts in radio communication and have the equipment, skills and necessary
frequencies … to deploy networks in emergency events quickly and
efficiently."
