location of Amateur Electronic Supply in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. AES announced a
surprise shutdown of its entire business in July. HRO took over its phone and
internet businesses and purchased the Milwaukee store, which it remodeled and
reopened in late August. According to HRO, the new facility is the largest
amateur radio retail store in North America.
