New Launch Window Set for Two Fox-1 Satellites
The
possible launch window for AMSAT's Fox-1Cliff and Fox-1D satellites has been
pushed back by around a month, according to the AMSAT News Service, slipping
from July 28 to the September 1-November 30, 2016 timeframe.
The two cubesats
are slated to be launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base on the new Spaceflight
SHERPA platform aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The satellites will carry
experiments from four universities as well as amateur radio voice repeaters.
