New Radio and Wireless Patch for Girl Scouts

The ARRL has partnered with officials from two Girl Scout councils to develop a new "Radio and Wireless Technology" patch program to teach members at all levels of the organization about wireless technology in hopes of kindling interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) subjects and careers.

The ARRL Letter reports that the new program will teach the fundamentals of radio and wireless technology and use amateur radio to provide hands-on learning.
