Communications attorney Roger
Sherman is the new Acting Chief of the FCC's Wireless Telecommuni-cations
Bureau, which oversees amateur radio as well as other two-way radio services.
Sherman replaces former Bureau Chief Ruth Milkman, who was named Chief of Staff
to new FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler.
According to the ARRL, Sherman previously
served as the Democratic Chief Counsel to the House Committee on Energy and
Commerce, along with other Congressional staff positions.
